Mother's Day Tea, Zoo and the Park!!!

Look how much I cut off of Hannah's hair! Her hair looks really cute short though! it's much more managable now!
Just for you mom here's some kitten pictures I need to take some more too!

This is what I'm going to call a catch up post! Well on Friday Hanna's class put on a special mother's day tea for all the moms and grandmas of the kids that attend Happy Day. It was really sweet and I did have some tears in my eyes! I Love you Hannah. Hannah gave me an award for being the best mom because I help her clean up! How sweet! They made all the treats that they served us and sang us so many lovely songs!

Saturday night Greg mentioned oh let's go to Moncton for Mother's day and go to the Zoo. So Sunday morning after Greg and the kids made breakfast we packed up the car and headed out to Moncton. It was the best mother's day I have ever had. The kids were fantastic and the food was great I didn't have to cook or clean up all day long it was awesome! It was a really nice warm day at the zoo when the sun went behind the clouds it was a bit cold but most of the day it was warm. Since we have been discussing the option of building a house and moving to the country and having a little farm during our trip through the zoo the kids were saying can we get this animal and have it on our farm so they want to have some Rabbits, Horses, Goats, Zebras, "baby Monkeys". So funny okay I guess we could have a few of those animals but not all that's forsure! During our walk thru the Zoo we ran into an aunt and her neice, The kids really like this little girl. We got chatting about the kids and the Lady said is he (Joshua) both of your child? I replied "Yes" and she said "Oh I didn't even think it was with you I thought he was someone elses because he is so dark, Why is he so dark?" I said "I don't know I guess that's just the way he is" I was not about to tell her our life story I didn't even know this lady so the followed us the rest of the way through the zoo. How bold was that. In this day and age you don't ask people if the kid is yours. So many people are adopting kids I just can't believe that she asked that and was so bold!

They would pick up the grass off the ground and put it in the fence for this "bird" to eat it the kids loved doing this. I can't believe Leah never got bitten during this activity! They had a park and the kid go to play while we sat and chatted!

The kids love the goats and there were a few baby ones too and Hannah loved the baby ones!

They had built and nice new lion exhibit! While we were there they fed the lions it was neat to read about the lions too! I realized that Lions are just like humans. The female lions killed the food and prepared it and the Males ate first and the females and kids got the left overs! hahaha just like us right?

So here I thought would be a good family picture to set up the camera and get us all together so this is what it looks like. Greg just stood there and didn't help get the girls over to take the picture so we just go Joshua and Greg Thanks Greg for the help hahaha!

Our tour guides they loved looking at the map to show us where to go!

some reptiles!
Isaiah finally enjoying the ground! He wouldn't sit on the ground and play he was scared but now he loves it!
Leah thought we needed to wash the cupboards so she did!
Our day at the park on a really nice warm day!

WOW,that was quite the mother's day! The kids are too cute. I love the pic of Isaiah getting attacked by the goats! :) Tell Hannah that she is the cutes little teapot that I have ever seen and that her new haircut is beautiful! Joshua is still go-go-go! He's is growing up so much! I just love him! and Leah cleaning the cupboards, she's taking after Hannah now with all her cleaning and neatness.
